Road Maintenance

The Village's annual Street Maintenance Program encompasses a number of different projects throughout the Village each spring & summer.  Every effort is made to keep affected residents informed as to when work will begin, how it is progressing, and any special needs such as off-street parking.  Generally, streets will remain open to traffic during construction for the streets scheduled to be resurfaced or crack sealed.  However, the streets scheduled to be reconstructed will have restricted traffic during certain phases of the work.  We remind motorist to drive cautiously through the work zone areas and pay attention to signs, barricades and workers.  We also ask that motorist refrain from parking on any street during construction activities.  If you have any questions about this program contact the Department of Public Works at (630) 719-4753.
